Call for papers: 40 years of the Labour Force Survey

Article dated: 2 September 2013

The Labour Force Survey (LFS) has been running in the UK for 40 years. The Office for National Statistics is holding a one-day conference to mark this anniversary and the event will incorporate the annual UK Data Service LFS User Meeting.

The conference will take place in the BIS Conference Centre, 1 Victoria Street, London, on Thursday 28 November 2013.

The UK Data Service would like to invite offers of papers based on analysis of the LFS over time. Presenters will have 25 minutes in total for their talk and questions. Send offers of a paper, including an abstract of no more than 300 words, to Gill Meadows as soon as possible but by Monday 16 September 2013 at the latest.
