Vacancy: IT Technical Access Analyst

University of Essex, UK Data Archive, Faculty of Social Sciences

The UK Data Archive is seeking to appoint an IT Technical Access Analyst to join our Technical Services Team. The section provides support for the critical needs of the other divisions in the UK Data Archive, by installing, commissioning, configuring, developing, maintaining and updating internal and external systems which are in everyday use, as well as supporting customers using the SecureLab environment, which hosts sensitive data accessed by various research communities.

Applicants should have a proven track record of working on a busy helpdesk or customer service environment and use of Service Desk software. Experience of working in a highly regulated organisation, an understanding of Information Security and the ability to document internal processes and procedures is essential.
