Vacancy: Professor and Deputy Director of UK Data Archive

The Deputy Director provides strategic leadership and management for the UK Data Archive, including enhancing the Archive’s national and international reputation and strengthening the Archive’s relationships with key stakeholders and collaborators. The Deputy Director makes a significant contribution to ensuring the effective leadership of the Archive as the lead organisation in the UK Data Service.

Along with developing and implementing a strategic approach to enable the Archive to contribute to the University’s strategic educational and research objectives, the Deputy Director will pursue research of internationally recognised importance and quality that will make a significant contribution to the University’s submission to future Research Excellence Framework exercises, and lead in successful grant applications.
