Managing, curating and publishing data, run by Dr Sharon Bolton and Ms Louise Corti, Secure access protocols for big data, run by Dr Libby Bishop, How to understand Big Data: strategies for understanding your big data and getting new knowledge from it, run by Nathan Cunningham and Big data methods in R, run Mr Szymon Walkowiak.
The UK Data Service Big Data Support Network
The UK Data Service Big Data Support Network’s aim is to provide a coherent, connected and accessible data infrastructure to secure the long-term future of the ESRC Big Data Network, equipping researchers with the data, tools, technology and skills they need to undertake social research.
As part of the ESRC Big Data Network, the UK Data Service will be working with the other data centres in the ESRC Big Data Network (based at the universities of Essex, Glasgow, Leeds and UCL) to ensure collaboration and consistent communication between organisations and stakeholder groups.
