Jisc has launched a new geospatial data service for UK further education (FE), higher education (HE), affiliates and Research Councils to support their mapping and geospatial data download needs.
Jisc’s Geospatial data service consolidates the range and full depth of geospatial services from Jisc Collections into a single package. The bundle consists of: Complete Ordnance Survey Collection, Historical and Coastal Aerial Photography (with LiDAR), Historic Ordnance Survey, Geology, Marine and Environmental. It offers highly accurate, detailed current mapping (with unlimited download capability) and spatial data.
This high-quality service was developed by Airbus, in conjunction with Jisc and its members. Jisc is offering UK HE institutions free trial access to JISC Geospatial Data collections until 31st October 2018 and is offering UK FE colleges free access for the next three years.
