Do you use UK family finance surveys from the UK Data Service for your research, including the Family Resources Survey, Living Costs and Food Survey, Wealth and Assets Survey, or other surveys with family finance-related content?
We are now looking for submissions for the Family Finance Surveys User Conference 2019.
This annual conference, organised by the UK Data Service, will be held on Wednesday 19 June 2019. It is a full-day conference at Lift, Islington, London, and is free to attend. The programme will contain a mixture of papers from data producers and researchers who use the data.
We would like to invite offers of presentations based on analysis of UK family finance surveys. This year we also invite PhD students to present their research using these data. The PhD student can be at any stage of their study; the presentation does not necessarily have to include research results.
Take a look at the programme from last year’s event.
If you would like to contribute a paper to this conference please send your details, the title of your presentation and a 200 word abstract to gillian.meadows@manchester.ac.uk by midnight on Sunday 7 April 2019. Please also state which data you used for your research and specify if you are a PhD student or not. By submitting your abstract you are agreeing to your information being shared with our conference partners.
We will evaluate all abstracts and notify authors after the selection process. A detailed programme of presentations will be provided prior to the conference.
Conference bookings will open when the programme has been finalised.
