As we approach Christmas, it’s time to reflect on what has been an incredibly challenging year.
Just like many of you, the team here at the UK Data Service has had to rethink the way we work in the face of the pandemic: delivering services and training remotely over the internet, and adapting security protocols, so our users can continue to access safeguarded data that is vital for their research.
We are now preparing for the Christmas break, which means some services will be restricted from Friday 18 December 2020 and IT support and help services will be closed from Wednesday 23 December.
We will fully re-open on Monday 4 January 2021. Online services will continue to run unattended throughout this period.
