Do you use the Crime Survey for England and Wales, Scottish Crime and Justice Survey, Commercial Victimisation Survey or other UK crime surveys available from the UK Data Service for your research?
Submissions are now open for the Crime Surveys User Conference 2021.
This free conference, organised by the UK Data Service, will be held online on 2 December 2021. The programme will contain a mixture of presentations from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), Scottish Government and the Home Office, and from researchers who have used data from the UK crime surveys.
Take a look at the Crime Surveys User Conference 2020 programme to see what was presented last year.
We would like to invite offers of presentations based on analysis of these UK surveys.
Please send offers of a paper, including your name, institution, a title and an abstract of no more than 300 words, to gillian.meadows@manchester.ac.uk by Sunday 26 September. By submitting your abstract you are agreeing to your information being shared with our conference partners.
We will evaluate all abstracts and notify authors after the selection process. Presentations at the conference can be live or pre-recorded, however all presenters will be expected to attend the conference. A detailed programme of presentations will be provided prior to the conference.
Conference booking is open but the programme will not be available until after the call for papers deadline.
