European Open Science Cloud Association seeking long-term data preservation recommendations

The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC-A) Long-Term Data Preservation Task Force (LTDP-TF) has released a recommendation consultation document, which presents their work towards recommendations concerning long-term data preservation in the context of EOSC. The task force would appreciate responses from a wide range of stakeholders across the digital object management lifecycle and the results of the consultation will be used to inform a final report for this iteration of the LTDP-TF, alongside proposals to EOSC-A on how further progress can be guided, monitored, and supported through the Association.

EOSC was established to develop a network of data services across Europe, which operate under the FAIR principles (data should be Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable). EOSC is a multi-disciplinary environment where researchers can publish, find and re-use data, tools and services, that enable them to better conduct their work.

The feedback template can be filled in here, and then sent to preservation-tf-feedback@eosc.eu. If you have further questions, please email our Repository and Preservation Manager Hervé L’Hours.
