Veerle Van den Eynden of the UK Data Service will be speaking at this event, organised by the University of Tartu Library, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Estonian Social Sciences Data Archive (ESSDA).

Participants will discuss the problems of the common data space of European social sciences, the economic efficiency of reusing data, the new data protection regulations applied in Europe, the ethical aspects of data management, and the acquisition, evaluation and using of suitable data. The second day will focus on the general principles of drawing data management plans and new web solutions offered by ESSDA (Estonian Social Sciences Data Archive), and practical data management practices to facilitate data sharing and reuse.
