Held in central London, the sixth annual conference of UKRIO addressed how to support a culture of high quality and ethical research. With a range of expert speakers, including Rt Hon Norman Lamb MP, Chair, House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, and Andrew Thompson, Professor of Modern History at the University of Exeter and Executive Chair of the Arts and Humanities Research Council, one of the 9 Councils in UK Research and Innovation, as well as representatives from UKRIO, the conference discussed how to respond to common issues and pitfalls and provide an update for new developments within the sector.

Louise Corti, of the UK Data Service, ran an afternoon parallel session on Research ethics and data sharing: governance and integrity.

The programme for the day provided delegates the opportunity to discuss issues that matter to them and and share their own experiences.
