It is an exciting time to join the UK Data Archive (the lead organisation of the UK Data Service). We have recently refocused our technical team to enable us to transition into new technologies for future service provision. We are advertising a post for a manager and two supporting roles. Together with our existing team, you will be helping us lead the way, ensuring the UK Data Archive continues to lead the world in providing access to social science and population data.
The Applications Development & Maintenance Manager leads a section, which provides day-to-day support to ensure the stable running of software applications for the UK Data Archive. The section also has responsibility for developing and deploying minor enhancements to existing in-house applications, particularly the UK Data Service website and the Endeavour repository workflow system.
