The UK Data Archive is seeking to appoint a Data Access and Use Assistant to join our customer-facing Data Access Services team. The post holder will support the UK Data Service’s data access and helpdesk operations.
Applicants should be customer-focused, with well-developed ‘soft’ skills, particularly in verbal communication, conflict resolution and collaboration. Candidates must have very strong IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office programmes, as running, collating and reporting metrics are a crucial part of the post, as is the use of online communication platforms.
