From data to decisions: The role of the 2021 Census in shaping research agendas

Submission deadline: Friday 31 January 2025, 23.59

You are invited to submit proposals for presentations and posters for the UK Data Service UK Census User Conference, which will take place in central Manchester and online on 12 – 13 June 2025.

This free conference will provide users and data creators with an opportunity to meet and discuss developments in census research.

This is a hybrid event but speakers are expected to attend in person.

Abstracts for papers and posters based on any aspect of research and data usage based on the censuses of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are welcome.

Abstracts for papers reporting on research should outline aims, method(s), and results (even if preliminary at the time of submission). Conceptual papers should explain how the paper contributes to the field.

Please submit short abstracts (up to 250 words), using the online submission form, by midnight on Friday 31 January 2025.

Conference booking is open but the programme will not be available until after the call for papers deadline.
