Do you conduct crime research using quantitative surveys or longitudinal studies from the UK Data Service, such as the Crime Survey for England and Wales, Scottish Crime and Justice Survey, and many more?
Submissions are now open for the Crime Surveys User Conference 2026.
This free conference, organised by the UK Data Service in collaboration with the Office for National Statistics, Scottish Government and Home Office, will be held online on Wednesday 11 March 2026.
The programme will contain a mixture of papers from data producers and researchers who have used the data. Take a look at the Crime Surveys User Conference 2025 programme as an example of what was presented in previous years.
We would like to invite offers of crime-related research presentations based on the analysis of the crime surveys or other surveys or longitudinal studies available from the UK Data Service. Abstracts from researchers at all stages of their career, including PhD students, are welcome. Please send offers of a paper using the online submission form by midnight on 18 December 2025. By submitting your abstract you are agreeing to your information being shared with our conference partners.
We will evaluate all abstracts and notify authors after the selection process. A detailed programme of presentations will be provided prior to the conference. Conference booking is open but the programme will not be available until after the call for papers deadline.
