2023 Research Methods e-Festival

The Research Methods e-Festival will take place between 7 and 9 November 2023. The online event, organised by NCRM, will be a celebration of research methods with an interdisciplinary focus.

The UK Data Service are providing five sessions at the 2023 Research Methods e-Festival.

The UK Data Services sessions are:

• What is time diary analysis of work? 7 November with Pierre Walthery, UK Data Service
• What is the solution Secure Data Facilities could offer to enable reproducibility for papers based on personal and confidential data? 8 November with Beate Lichtwardt, UK Data Service
• Ethical uses of race and migration data 8 November with Nigel de Noronha, UK Data Service
• What is the role of Interactive Visualizations in Understanding Sexual Orientation, and Gender Identity? 8 November with Louise Capener, UK Data Service
  The Office for Statistics Regulation confirmed on 12 September 2024 that the gender identity estimates from Census 2021 in England and Wales are no longer 'accredited official statistics' and are now classified as 'official statistics in development'.For further information please see the Office for National Statistics web page Sexual orientation and gender identity quality information for Census 2021.
