To support users of the latest round of the census, the UK`s national statistics agencies are starting to release datasets describing the geography of the census. These datasets include boundaries, centroids, and geographic look-up tables.

This free introductory webinar will cover the following topics:

  • An introduction to the output geography of the latest UK census and differences / similarities with previous UK censuses.
  • An introduction to census geography datasets: boundaries; centroids and geographic look-up tables.
  • Plans for access to census geography datasets through the UK Data Service.
  • Practical examples of the use of census geography boundary datasets for the visualisation and analysis of census data.
