Do you use UK quantitative studies from the UK Data Service for health-related research, such as the Health Survey for England, Scottish Health Survey, National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyle, Psychiatric Morbidity Surveys, Understanding Society, Birth Cohort Studies, and many more?
Submissions are now open for the Health Studies User Conference 2023.
This free conference, organised by the UK Data Service in collaboration with UCL and the National Centre for Social Research, will be held in London at UCL on 29 June 2023.
We are running this as an in-person conference in 2023 to enable networking. However, we will run the conference online in 2024 to welcome those who are unable to make the in-person conference this year.
The programme will contain a mixture of papers from data producers and researchers who have used the data.
Take a look at the Health Studies User Conference 2022 programme to see what was presented last year.
We would like to invite offers of research presentations based on the analysis of the health studies. Abstracts from researchers at all stages of their career, including PhD students, are welcome.
Please send offers of a paper using the online submission form by midnight on Sunday 26 March. By submitting your abstract you are agreeing to your information being shared with our conference partners.
We will evaluate all abstracts and notify authors after the selection process. A detailed programme of presentations will be provided prior to the conference.
Conference booking is open but the programme will not be available until after the call for papers deadline.
