Do you use UK quantitative surveys from the UK Data Service for crime-related research, such as the Crime Survey for England and Wales, Scottish Crime and Justice Survey, Commercial Victimisation Survey, and many more?
Submissions are now open for the Crime Surveys User Conference 2024.
This free conference, organised by the UK Data Service in collaboration with the Office for National Statistics, Scottish Government and Home Office, will be held in London at Lift, Islington on 6 February 2024.
The programme will contain a mixture of papers from data producers and researchers who have used the data.
Take a look at the Crime Surveys User Conference 2021 programme as an example of what was presented in previous years.
We would like to invite offers of crime-related research presentations based on the analysis of the crime surveys or other surveys or longitudinal studies available from the UK Data Service. Abstracts from researchers at all stages of their career, including PhD students, are welcome.
Please send offers of a paper using the online submission form by midnight on Sunday 12 November (extended deadline). By submitting your abstract you are agreeing to your information being shared with our conference partners.
We will evaluate all abstracts and notify authors after the selection process. A detailed programme of presentations will be provided prior to the conference.
Conference booking is open but the programme will not be available until after the call for papers deadline.
