UK Data Service launches undergraduate dissertation award

Are you an undergraduate, writing a dissertation in 2019-20? Want your research seen by other researchers, data users and practitioners?

The UK Data Service is awarding three prizes in its Dissertation Award in the coming academic year. The newly launched award recognises outstanding undergraduate social science dissertations that include excellent reuse of data.

Each winning entry will receive £300, and we’ll publish your abstract and key findings on our website and blog, and in our newsletter.

The deadline is 18 May 2020.

Full details

Students and lecturers can also find out more by watching our webinar Using UK Data Service data in dissertations on 7 November. It will introduce the Dissertation Award and address FAQs about student access to data and our student resources.

Please note: no family members of staff working in any of the UK Data Service partners may apply.
