About the project
The UK Data Service is part of an EU-funded project that aims to create a common label system for Europe that guarantees the quality and utility of datasets for scientific and health innovation purposes. These labels will enable researchers, policymakers, and healthcare professionals to identify high-quality data for research and decision making.
Partners
QUANTUM brings together 36 partners from 15 European countries, forming a diverse Consortium designed to represent various roles and institutions within the governance of HealthData@EU.
Project duration
The project is due to run from January 2024 to June 2026.
UK Data Service contribution
The UK Data Service will be involved in work packages relating to the specification of the data quality and utility, and maturity label; the design, development and testing of the label; and the mid-scale implementation of the label.
