Family Finance Surveys User Conference: Programme announced and bookings are now open

We are pleased to announce the programme for this year’s Family Finance Surveys User Conference has now been confirmed and bookings are no open.

Organised by the UK Data Service, in collaboration with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the conference brings together producers and users of survey data on household finances to explore the latest developments in income, wealth and living standards.

This year’s programme includes:

  • Updates from DWP, including the Family Resources Survey and Households Below Average Income.
  • ONS developments on the Wealth and Assets Survey and the Living Costs and Food Survey.
  • New research on poverty, wealth measurement and financial behaviour.
  • Presentations on new approaches to measuring living standards and household costs, drawing on survey, administrative and financial data.

The conference will conclude with a chaired session led by James Smith (Resolution Foundation), bringing together perspectives on how data and methods shape our understanding of the cost of living.
