Administrative data are a rich source of data and have the potential to transform the way in which we gather demographic data. In this free webinar, hosted by the UK Data Service, Becky Tinsley, ONS's Head of Admin Data Census, and Becca Briggs, from ONS's Migration Statistics Division, will outline the background to the Administrative Data Census project and focus on the recent publication updating on the journey to transform the population and migration statistics system, and the ambition to put admin data at its core.

Oliver Duke-Williams, CeLSIUS and UK Data Service, will introduce the webinar, and will also speculate on the opportunities enabled and challenges posed by admin census data for the ONS Longitudinal Study, the longest running and most complex of census data products.
