The UK Data Service, in conjunction with the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), held a consultation workshop to discuss users' experience of working with our Secure Lab, and to hear from users about priorities, outcomes and the impact of their projects using controlled data.

The day brought together researchers using Secure Lab with funders, research commissioners, data owners and UK Data Service staff to explore possible new models of operation for our Secure Lab service. Following short presentations from the ESRC, BEIS, ONS and the UK Data Service, invited users delivered lightning talks on their research using the Secure Lab.
